I remember sweet dreams in the early 70's but have never heard an album of his. I was shocked! This guy is a very talented, underrated artist! His guitar playing is phenomenal. Covering (Hendrix) - hey Joe to Green Onions and of course sweet dreams!, 2 discs, I love from start to finish/5().

Jul 21,  · In many ways it was the songs which really captured the attention of metal fans in '86 when SWORD released the debut, and moving two years into the future for "Sweet Dreams", SWORD were once again able to put together an excellent collection of catchy, melodic songs (albeit, slightly more up-tempo and aggressive in nature).

Its more mature somehow, and very party. a nice follow up. In fact, this album, sweet dreams, is a masterpiece. Its points in my book. Only thing is that It could take 2 to 5 times to get really into it. and the solos man!, wow, Mike Plant is the young genius behind them! The sound on it seems to be remastered through/5(26).

Their first album, "Metalized" is a classic album. The group gave it their all on their second and last album, "Sweet Dreams." The music is tighter and cripser. Musically, they sound like the Ronnie James Dio era of Black Sabbath and Rainbow played a little bit /5(7).
