This particular Best of Motörhead release is a double-disc set on the Sanctuary subsidiary Metal-Is, and it's one of the very, very few Motörhead collections that tries to draw material from throughout the band's career. The compilers couldn't secure the rights to everything, and as such, there's nothing here from albums like or Bastards. But there are tracks from the later Overnight 8/

I’ve always liked Motörhead, but was a mostly an “Overkill” and “Ace of Spades” CD guy. 2 awesome albums. Then I started to come across several other tunes (thank you Ozzy’s Boneyard) that we’re equally good, and finally HAD to get this 2 CD set. Glad I did. I’ve easily doubled my list of great Motörhead tunes/5().
