Apr 10,  · Arch Enemy - Stigmata () - Second album - Century Media Records. The Arch Enemy of today is known for their skilled guitarists, and one of the only female Melo-Death Metal vocalists out there. Little know or have even heard the old Arch Enemy, pre-Angela Gossow/5.

Arch Enemy's seventh album, entitled Rise of the Tyrant was released on 24 September in Europe and 25 September in the United States. Rise of the Tyrant debuted at number 84 on the Billboard chart. This surpassed the Doomsday Machine chart entry, making it the band's highest charting effort to Melodic death metal.

Album Rating: This album is pretty good. The vocals are pretty bad, but the riffs, solos, drumming, and song structures all save this from being really bad. I think Arch Enemy should remake all the Johan Liiva albums with Angela Gossow. I have the live DVD and they did some songs from the Johan albums and it sounds REALLY good/5.

Jan 14,  · referencing Stigmata, CD, Album, RE, RM, Sli, Arch Enemy gets a fair amount of attention and publicity due to the fact that they were pretty much the first death metal band with a female vocalist. Fortunately, their music more than lives up to the hype/5().

One of the best debuts in death metal, and one of Arch Enemy's best albums almost 25 years later. (/10) 2: 2. Arch Enemy Doomsday Machine () This one's somewhat nostalgic for me. After listening to a few Arch Enemy albums, I got super excited about them and started to delve deeper into their discography--mostly through streaming.
